Cargo Manager - Chongqing 重庆货运经理 (Work Location: Chongqing)
Job Description:
Overall responsibility for Cargo Sales and Marketing for Cathay Pacific Airways (CX) and Hong Kong Dragon Airlines (KA) as well as overseeing the cargo operations for the station.
Apply proper control in operating processes and procedures, ensuring consistent customer services and safety for people, aircraft and cargo.
Develop and implement business strategy to meet & exceed revenue target.
Coordinate with Cargo China Central Team and Head Office to promote and implement business initiatives.
Lead and drive improvement initiatives in the areas of sales and operations.
Manage cargo sales & services team resources to the most efficient manner.
Ensure the skills and qualifications of staff are up to CX/KA standard.
Coach & build a winning team towards company’s vision and mission.
Maintain strong relationships with Airport Authority, CIQ, suppliers and key accounts.
Manage freighter operation by regular coordination & cooperation with co-terminating ports reservations team and Head Office?CRM team.
Increase market penetration by adding new cargo agents to ports’ agency distribution list.
Grow general cargo and special cargo tonnage and revenue.
Conduct consignee sales.
Take effective measures to control CX/KA agency credit risk and prevent any default.
Take effective measures to ensure CX/KA practice and staff to comply with all Corporate Compliance’s policies including anti-trust, anti-bribery and customer data privacy policy.
Qualifications
University degree or above
With at least 5 years relevant experience, in which 3 years in supervising role
Good command of both spoken and written English and Mandarin
Knowledge of air cargo sales/service/ systems is preferred
Strong sense of responsibility
Sound people management skills
Strong interpersonal skills and initiatives
Good planning, organizing and time management
