Position: Analyst
The Analyst role is an exciting entry-level position in a fast-growing global firm with opportunities to work closely with business and investment leaders that are driving industry throughout the world.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Quickly identify and establish consulting relationships with professionals best suited to consult on our highest priority client inquiries through e-mail and telephone marketing.
- Grow the GLG Legal Policy & Accounting Councils by recruiting key thought leaders with basic industry professional recruiting campaigns, leveraging lists, associations, referrals and other relationships
- Interview prospective Council Members as needed and capture critical data for Council Member profiles
Candidate profile:

- An interest in Chinese politics, economics, and governmental affairs.
- An interest in the way that changing regulations affect businesses.
- Bachelor’s degree, or above.
- One to three years working experience in legal, policy or accounting fields including intellectual property, government affairs or taxation from a relevant consulting firm will be a plus.
- Excellent communication skills over the telephone, e-mail, and in-person, in both English and Mandarin.
- Ability to identify best match/solution of requests/questions, to manage cold calls, and to handle increasing responsibility over time.
- Successful track record working in a team environment.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize activities effectively, while ensuring a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Compensation and Benefits:
The following is an initial estimate of compensation and benefits for this position. The final compensation structure depends on many factors and these numbers are subject to change.
Salary: Competitive base salary plus year-end performance-based discretionary bonus
Vacation: 15 days and all government holidays
Notes: Gerson Lehrman Group does not allow employees to trade stocks or any other security that may present a conflict of interest or appearance of conflict of interest. GLG also requires that all employees sign a non-compete agreement with our firm.
